Treatment of hem armpit pain using EL method
The odor in the sensitive area is caused by the apocrine sweat glands present in the skin.Just like so-called armpit gas, many people are concerned about the smell of V・I・O.It is common for underwear to smell, and many people give up because they don't know how to fix it. EL method is a method that inserts a special needle into each hair follicle in the delicate zone and selectively heat-coagulates only the apocrine sweat glands so that no scars remain, destroying them and eliminating odor in the long term.Unlike antiperspirants, the effect lasts for a long time, so you can live your daily life without stress.
Characteristic of Soso Wakiga
V・I・O also has many apocrine sweat glands, and is characterized by the smell and bitter taste similar to armpit gas from the surrounding area.People with armpit gags are more likely to develop armpit ga (susoga).Susowakiga occurs regardless of gender, but women may get it only when there is a change in their hormonal balance.
Choose a hospital carefully!
If you undergo treatment easily, not only will it not heal, but you may suffer from scars for the rest of your life.In particular, the hem of the armpit is a very delicate area, so we recommend methods that do not put stress on it.At our hospital, we provide treatment tailored to each patient, and we also offer methods that cause less damage to the body. Please feel free to contact us.
miraDry® is a microwave-based medical device that acts on eccrine sweat glands to treat severe primary axillary hyperhidrosis. Recently, a case report has been made of a death that is likely due to the use of miraDry® on an unsuitable area (Wen S, et al. Legal Medicine 2022;58:102095). According to the report, a healthy woman who received miraDry® treatment on the perineum, genitals, and perianal area due to body odor experienced severe side effects after treatment, such as persistent fever, persistent pain, and bleeding from the treatment area, and died on the sixth day due to a rapid deterioration of her general condition, which is thought to be due to Fournier's gangrene complicated by toxic shock-like syndrome (case pending). It is unclear at this time whether the miraDry®️ treatment was directly related to the cause of death. In addition, in this case, miraDry®️ was not used to treat severe primary axillary hyperhidrosis. However, we would like to ask you to confirm the content of the appropriate use of miraDry®️ again. miraDry® is a specially-managed medical device and a special maintenance-managed medical device, meaning that if side effects or malfunctions occur when the device is used properly for its intended purpose, it may have a serious impact on human life and health, and therefore requires proper management. The package insert (6nd edition) of August 2019 includes the following warning:
[Purpose or effect of use]
This product is a device used to treat severe primary axillary hyperhidrosis.
【warning】
When diagnosing primary axillary hyperhidrosis, follow the latest guidelines for the treatment of primary focal hyperhidrosis. * [Incorrect diagnosis of hyperhidrosis, assessment of severity, and identification of sweating sites can make it difficult to balance risks and benefits.]
[Taboos and Prohibitions]
Applicable subjects (patients)
1. This treatment should not be applied to the following patients: • Patients with pacemakers or other electronic devices embedded in their bodies [This may cause malfunctions in the embedded medical electronic devices, leading to serious accidents] • Patients with metal implants near the armpits or with tattoos [The embedded metal may generate heat and cause burns] • Patients with malignant tumors or skin malignant tumors in the treatment area [There is a concern that the malignant tumor may become activated]
How To Use
1. Do not use lubricants that are not water-soluble (such as ultrasound gel or IPL laser gel). [Lubricant may become clogged in the suction holes of the biochip, preventing adequate suction of the skin and resulting in burns.] 2. Do not operate this product near flammable gases, including oxygen or anesthetics. [Microwaves may ignite, resulting in a risk of fire or burns.] 3. Do not use in areas where hyperhidrosis occurs other than the armpits. [The efficacy and safety of using this product in areas where compensatory sweating, a complication, occurs, has not been established, and there is a risk of serious malfunctions or adverse events.] (*) The latest treatment guidelines for primary focal hyperhidrosis are currently being revised and will be published soon. When using miraDry®, please make sure to use it appropriately at a facility that can handle side effects, carefully consider the patients to whom it is applicable, and obtain sufficient informed consent regarding its effectiveness and side effects.

MiraDry is not effective against body odor. The Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare has approved it as a medical device only for patients who suffer from "primary axillary hyperhidrosis," which is excessive sweating in the armpit area. The Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare's website clearly states that it has not been approved as a treatment for body odor because it has not been found to be effective against body odor.
According to a statement from the Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Agency, "The clinical trial results for MiraDry showed that it was unable to meet the clinical trial criteria for odor. Overall, therefore, the review has concluded that the product is only suitable for treating hyperhidrosis, and that it did not demonstrate any odor-reducing effect."
The examination was based on the procedure performed by a doctor, but most beauty clinics use nurses for the procedure. This further reduces the effectiveness and increases the risk. MiraDry is not intended for use in treating anything other than underarm sweating. Neither safety nor effectiveness has been confirmed. It does not reduce odor.

Those who are worried about the recurrence of Suso Wakiga
Approximately half of our patients have received treatment at other hospitals.
These include people who have undergone medical treatment or surgery that has not been effective, or who have had complications. Our hospital's EL method allows for re-treatment and is supported by many people.Physicians themselves also visit us as patients.
How to treat Soso Wakiga
In our hospital, we use the following four methods.
EL method (electrolysis method)
High-frequency energy pinpoints the source of odor, sweat, and yellowing. The EL method is a treatment that is less stressful on the body for Susoga.
Sweat injection
Just by hitting the injection, you can easily reduce sweat and odor in a short time. The effect varies from person to person, but it takes about half a year.
Wakiga cream
Since it is for medical use, rashes and post-inflammatory pigmentation are less likely to occur even after long-term use.Prescriptions can also be covered by insurance.

Notes on EL method
Because the anesthesia is injected, internal bleeding may occur temporarily, but this will subside in about a week. The EL method uses a thin needle to generate heat, which causes mild inflammation that matches the hair follicles, and redness may remain for 1-1 weeks. In addition, the surrounding tissue under the skin also shrinks due to heat coagulation, so you may feel a taut and uncomfortable sensation for about 2-1 weeks. There may be temporary pigmentation that matches the hair follicles, but this will disappear after a short period of time.
Mechanism of EL law
EL (Electrolysis) method destroys apocrine sweat glands (source of odor), eccrine sweat glands (source of sweat), and sebaceous glands (source of yellow spots) with high frequency energy. It is a method to reduce sweat, smell and yellow spots. We can cope with skirt and chichiga (areola wakiga).
The EL method is a treatment that places little burden on the body. Reasons for the dissemination are that the acquisition of technology is extremely difficult, special equipment must be purchased, much more labor and time than surgery, and the profits of medical institutions cannot be expected.

Sweat injection
Just by giving an anti-perspirant injection, you can suppress the function of eccrine sweat glands, which are the source of sweat, and reduce sweat and odor. There are almost no restrictions on your daily life from the day you receive the treatment, and it is very simple as all you have to do is get an injection. The effect lasts for about half a year, so it is recommended for those who want to suppress sweat and odor only during a limited period of time, such as during the summer, and in combination with the EL method.

Underwear has yellow spots
If yellow spots are found on the delicate zone of the underwear, there is a possibility of squatting (sosoga). The sweat in the apocrine glands is so pigmented that the underwear may turn yellow.
The delicate zone has thick hair
There are also many apocrine sweat glands around the delicate zone. If the hair follicles have developed, it is likely that the apocrine glands, which cause the stalks, are also likely to have developed.
Changes in hormone balance
Symptoms may appear before and after menstruation, after childbirth, and during menopause, when the hormone balance changes significantly.People who originally have a lot of apocrine sweat glands may have a strong odor due to hormonal imbalance.
