Pharmaceuticals with the generic name of human placenta extract (placenta) are approved in Japan, but the approved efficacy, effect, dosage and administration are different from the purpose and method of use at our hospital.
Although there have been no reports of significant risk or slow virus infection from placenta injections over the past 60 years, the theoretical risk of transmission of vCJD (variant Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease) cannot be ruled out.

In experimental burn wounds using rats, Melsumon showed a wound healing-promoting effect compared to controls.
anti-fatigue effect
Melsumon was found to have anti-fatigue properties in an underwater swimming fatigue test using mice.
Vitreous and subconjunctival hemorrhage absorption promotion
Experimental hemorrhage was induced in the vitreous body and under the bulbar conjunctiva of the rabbit eyeball, and as a result of observing its absorption promoting effect, Melsumon showed a hemorrhagic absorption promoting effect compared to the control.
Although this drug contains various trace ingredients derived from human placenta, specific substances cannot be indicated as active ingredients.
