Reading Time: <1 minuteThere are some patients who have had cosmetic surgery in Korea and come to our clinic hoping to have the stitches removed. There are also many patients who have had surgery called canthoplasty to make the eyes bigger. However, in most cases, the sutures become infected, necrotic, or dilated, resulting in a so-called suture failure. Canthoplasty is a completely meaningless cosmetic surgery. The reason is that it almost always returns to its original state. Because the sutures cannot remain at rest (the eyelids are constantly moving with blinking and under tension), the scars can become dilated and suture failure can occur or become infected. Unfortunately, it seems that such risks and complications are not explained before the surgery. A surgery that is left unfinished in Korea. It's scary. The doctor's background and track record are also unknown. However, the surgery costs are cheaper than in Japan. There is no aftercare or follow-up care. You should never have cosmetic surgery in Korea.
