What are cosmetic surgery, cosmetic surgery, and dermatology clinics?

Cosmetic surgery, cosmetic surgery, cosmetic dermatology, cosmetic internal medicine Cosmetic surgery is the only medical specialty officially approved by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare. Even if you are providing cosmetic dermatology treatment, you can only officially advertise as a cosmetic surgery specialty. There are no special regulations for websites, but if you are advertising in the Yellow Pages or official magazines, you cannot use the cosmetic dermatology specialty. In Japan, if you graduate from a medical school at a university and obtain a medical license, you can immediately perform treatment as a doctor. You are free to choose your own path. Basically, you decide on your specialty after two years of clinical training. There are a few cosmetic surgery courses at Kitasato University, the University of Tokyo, and other universities, but there are also specialized courses at universities. However, in most cases, you will train under a cosmetic surgery practitioner and acquire the skills and knowledge of a cosmetic surgeon. Unfortunately, there is a big difference in the level, and some facilities are not considered to be performing medical treatment that is patient-centered. They do not inform patients of the suitability of surgery, and only perform cosmetic surgery if the patient requests it. There are also clinics that forcibly perform surgery with downtime on the day even if the patient is not suitable for surgery. Naturally, they only emphasize the benefits of surgery and do not explain the postoperative course or the risks of surgery. Doctors who have trained at such medical institutions and acquired surgical techniques open new cosmetic surgery clinics in a short period of time. In other words, even if they receive insufficient training in a short period of time, they can open a cosmetic surgery clinic that advertises itself as a cosmetic surgery clinic. There is a doctor who introduced himself on the website as a charismatic cosmetic surgeon with a lot of experience, confidently graduating from medical school in his second year. Even though I have been a cosmetic surgeon for 2 years, I still feel that I have a lot to learn as a cosmetic surgeon, so I study every day, go back to my roots, and participate in academic conferences and seminars to improve myself every day. How much experience and knowledge can you gain in just one or two years? It's a big question. It seems that many patients do not know that plastic surgeons and cosmetic surgeons are very different. A plastic surgeon is not necessarily a good cosmetic surgeon. Isn't a good cosmetic surgeon a doctor who provides medical care for patients carefully and diligently to the extent that he can?
