There are quite a few medical institutions in beauty clinics that perform infusions, hair removal, and laser treatments even though doctors are not present. This is what is called beauty nurse treatment. It is truly frightening. What would happen if a patient had an anaphylactic shock during an infusion? Nurses are completely unable to respond. Risk and crisis management are not possible. Medical treatments in clinics without doctors are absolutely prohibited. This kind of tactic is rampant in beauty clinics that prioritize profits. Recently, there have been an increasing number of cases where people other than doctors have opened and run beauty clinics because they think they can make money. Naturally, they prioritize profit over medical care. They cannot understand what legitimate medical care is. They are people who don't care if people die as long as they make money. Instead of hiring doctors to make a profit, they hire beauty nurses. They have beauty nurses perform all the procedures that doctors should perform. Unfortunately, some beauty nurses have no sense of ethics. I heard that there are beauty nurses who treat patients thinking they are cosmetic surgeons. Even in unscrupulous cosmetic surgery clinics, there are cases where nurses perform hair removal, laser treatments, and infusions without the presence of a doctor. In the cosmetic medicine industry, it has become commonplace for nurses to perform hair removal, laser treatments, MiraDry, high frequency, RF, and HIFU treatments. This is the result of prioritizing clinic profits over price competition and efficacy and satisfaction for patients. There is also a problem with influencers, who have no knowledge of cosmetic medicine, exaggerating their PR and disseminating biased information for their own gain. Before a fatal accident occurs at a cosmetic clinic, we would like to ask the Ministry of Health, Labor, and Welfare and public health centers to provide thorough guidance.
